Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year, students and parents!

Dream. Believe. Achieve.

It’s our Braves’ vision.

And it’s happening now.

STMS test scores are going up. Language learner achievement is on the rise. Students are demonstrating greater levels of literacy – in both reading and math. Campus attendance goals were exceeded for the past school year.

Our Braves are forging ahead, and we need to support our students, teachers, and staff to keep the momentum!

This coming school year will see a continued focus on strong instruction, with teachers planning engaging lessons and activities that challenge our young learners, as well as accommodate for their varied learning styles and ability levels – lessons powered by student observations, student-teacher interactions, and formative assessments to best tailor learning to student needs.

Our Braves must be present to learn. Thank you, parents, for your strong support and assistance as we continue striving to meet and exceed our campus attendance goals.

Of equal importance will be our continuation of social-emotional and health-wellness learning and supports for students, as well as teachers and staff.

I look forward to catching up with our incoming eighth grade students after their long summer break and meeting and learning about our new seventh graders. With the support of our dedicated faculty, staff, parents, and community, I anticipate the 2026-2027 school year to be the best one yet!
